Andrew Sharp

Andrew Sharp is co-head of Dodge Cine. He is also the founder, chief tinkerer, and unofficial chaos-wrangler behind Sharp Solutions Inc., the computational well being and digital security studio that proves tech support can be both brilliant and entertaining. With years of experience in hardware and software design, troubleshooting, digital forensics, creative design, and client-saving heroics, Andrew has built a reputation for fixing the unfixable, securing the exposed, and explaining complicated tech concepts without putting anyone to sleep.

 

Equal parts doctor-of the-digital, designer, and computer therapist, Andrew combines sharp puzzle solving instincts with a creative streak wide enough to require its own zoning permit; all with a focus on cinema and media.

 

Because of his extensive background in photography, as well as, lighting and audio engineering for theater and live events and his unprecedented knowledge on cameras, equipment and industry standard software- he served as a producer on the multi-cultural, multi- film project WHITENESS. There he also headed custom tech, hardware and software builds for the project's one of a kind Infrared post production process alongside aiding post sound design for a team that pushed every cinematic boundary imaginable. When the production needed someone to decode complicated workflows, rescue rogue audio files, or apply a bit of movie magic using cutting-edge custom created tools, Andrew became the de facto specialist, bringing film assets to life with equal parts artistry and technical precision.

 

When he’s not innovating tech or making movies, you can probably find him experimenting with new branding designs for Dodge Cine merch, playing the bass guitar, shooting pictures or explaining to someone—patiently—that turning it off and on again is still a valid method to success.
