Ting is a NYC-based actor-writer-producer with experience in narrative, documentaries, commercials, branded campaigns, social, and corporate videos. Born in Hong Kong, Ting has been involved in projects in both Hong Kong, Mainland China, and in different parts of the United States, including New York, Pennsylvania, DC, and Massachusetts.
In love with the idea of connecting with people through art, Ting started acting and got a minor in Theatre at Rochester Institute of Technology. During his tenure in Rochester, he was involved in various theatrical productions as both actor and crew, including the Rochester Shakespeare Company. His interests grew beyond acting and he has since received a Screenwriting Certificate from Emerson College in Boston. His degree in Electrical Engineering also influences his style of production management and creative workflow. Starting out as a production assistant to local indie film and commercial productions in 2016, Ting worked his way up to producing his first web commercial for BOULT AUDIO in 2018. Some of his other involvements include writing and producing the 48 hour of film competitions in Boston and Providence, as well as acting and producing corporate videos for Harvard Pilgram Healthcare, Raytheon, and Fanatics in the Greater Boston Area.
In addition to producing, Ting has consulted and worked with clients from both sides of the world in marketing, and customer/user acquisition and engagement. Utilizing his background in technology and analytics, he knows the ins and outs of different tools for marketing analytics and how to use the data to inspire his writing and productions for maximum impact at a lean cost; translating numbers into communicating an emotional tale.
Ting's focuses are Producing, Acting, Private Equity Finance (traditional strategies, as well as, utilizing Crypto currency), Viral Analytics and Technology (especially for exhibition and streaming) and writing.
